Stressful Things For A City Dweller

Living in a city is convenient and stressful at the same time. What outweighs - this is a controversial question which will be discussed further. From the one hand if you live in a city you have great possibilities. It includes good education, high paid job, lots of ways for self-improvement, lots of entertainment places, etc. 

But you have probably thought that living in the city can be stressful. Well, you might be right because according to the held researches, living or growing up as a city dweller might negativity affect your mental health. One of the greatest problems for a city dweller is the tendency to develop one of the most dangerous diseases in our times - depression or mental disorder as it is also called. How is it developed and what influences its development?

First of all, the whole atmosphere. Describe your whole working day starting from the morning. You hurry up at work. Sometimes you don't have time to have breakfast and just drink a cup of coffee. This can become a harmful habit which can negatively influence your health state with time. 

Your day goes on, and you have to reach your place of work in time. Here the second stressful thing appears: traffic jams. This is a normal phenomenon almost for all cities. And city dwellers think they are accustomed to this city peculiarity. However, they even don't notice that they get nervous each time it occurs and touches them. 

After that you reach at last your place of work and here again everything that can be only imagined: reports, negotiations, telephone talks, disputes, conflicts with management, misunderstandings, etc. City job represents a very stressful event, as every city dweller tends to occupy a high position. And a high position in its turn supposes permanent nerves.

How to reduce stress if you live in similar conditions? There are ways out. Learn to plan your week. Find a place for relaxation. For example, let Tuesday and Friday evenings be the time of your relaxation. Dedicate these evenings to those things you really love. Offer your ideas your friends. You will see that these little pleasures will bring changes in your usual life rhythm. And it is in your forces to make these changes positive.
